From a merciless linebacker, Eric has been transformed to messenger of divine mercy.
Eric, a standout high school athlete, played Division One football at Kent State
and, in 2005, was signed by the Cleveland Browns and later the New York Jets. While Eric grew up in a devout Catholic home and attended Catholic schools, it took a
long time for him to understand what is beneath the surface of what we do as Catholics. After leaving the NFL, he spent 3 years living with Carmelite hermits in Texas,
where he continued his intensive focus discerning his vocation. After that period of discernment, he fully gave himself to the Lord and decided to live out the message
of Divine Mercy. Ericís journey eventually led him to Fr. Michael Gaitley and the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Eric now lives,
works and prays in service with the Marian Missionaries of Divine Mercy and continues his ministry to the homeless.
A nationally recognized speaker and writer, Greg works to inspire with a
message that builds on real life examples of Christís love. Greg already knew God from his
upbringing and time spent attending church services, but came to really understand Catholic teaching through his work helping to inspire others. On a 3-day
religious retreat, Greg abandoned his life as a corporate executive for a life in ministry and faith formation, where he felt called to make his studies in faith a
career. He next took some time to reflect on his life and regain his inspiration. He returned to the Bible and spent a year and a half working on contemplative writings.
He is the author of the book Where Faith and Real Life Come Together. He has also hosted an inspirational radio show on AM 1300, based on Who Will I Be Tomorrow.
The subject matter included things that shape us into who we are. His overall message is that people need to take care of each other.
